“The Technical Commission, responsible for analysing working papers related to aviation safety and air navigation services before submitting them to the plenary for resolution, plays a central role in maintaining ICAO’s mission of safe, secure, and efficient skies. Ms Sem’s election signifies recognition of Namibia’s technical expertise, credibility, and commitment to upholding international aviation standards, while also creating opportunities to strengthen national and regional capacity through global collaboration,” Ashipala said.
