A DELEGATION from Delta School, led by Ms. Draga Boscovic, head of the school’s delegation to Belgrade, paid a courtesy visit to President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah after representing Namibia at the 56th International Gathering of Children of Europe, themed “Joy of Europe,” and the 32nd International Arts Competition in Serbia.
Ms. Boscovic shared the learners’ experiences, highlighting their opportunity to showcase Namibian creativity on a global stage. President Nandi-Ndaitwah praised the group for proudly representing Namibia, emphasising that their participation aligns with the country’s growing Creative Industry, a key focus of the National Development Plan 6 (NDP6) and a priority for the 8th Administration.
The President underscored the value of such initiatives in fostering people-to-people connections and advancing cultural diplomacy, central to Namibia’s global engagement. She added that these international experiences cultivate creativity, confidence, and an appreciation for shared humanity among young Namibians.
