A 37-year-old man tragically lost his life after burning to death in his shack in Otjimbingwe.
According to the weekend crime report, the incident occurred on Saturday, 24 January 2026, at around 00:32 in the Aru-Ais suburb.
It is alleged that the victim, identified as Levi Daniel Tsowaseb, died after his corrugated iron house was destroyed by fire and he was burned to death during the incident.
No foul play is suspected at this stage. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and the victim’s next of kin were informed. The body was transported to Usakos State Hospital mortuary for death certification, storage, and further handling.
Police investigations continue.
