EPHRAIM Lebeus Shipindo, the recently re-elected Okongo Constituency councillor, is the new Chairperson of the Ohangwena Regional Council, replacing long-serving Erickson Ndawanifa, the councillor of the Omulonga Constituency.
In turn, Ndawanifa joins Olivia Hanghuwo of Eenhana and Matheus Nanghama of Epembe as the region’s three National Council members.
While Hanghuwo is going for her second term, Ndawanifa and Nanghama are newcomers to the National Council, replacing Erkan Hainghumbi of Engela and Lonia Kaishungu-Shinana of Oshikunde, who did not contest in last month’s elections.
