Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with the murder of Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock, following a Crime Intelligence-led operation in Gauteng.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Brenda Muridili said the arrest took place on Friday evening.
“A 25-year-old Mozambican national … was arrested in the Marathon informal settlement in Primrose around 20:00 on 30 January 2026.
“The operation was conducted by the Provincial Investigation Unit, together with Crime Intelligence and Ekurhuleni Metro Police,” she said.
The suspect is expected to appear in court on Monday, 2 February, where he will face charges of murder and contravention of the Immigration Act.
His arrest follows the earlier detention of Victor Mthethowakhe Majola, the first suspect in the case, whose bail application was denied earlier this month.
Majola is due to return to court in February.
DJ Warras was shot outside the Zambezi Building in Johannesburg in December.
