RAINFALL was not widespread over the weekend; however, a few areas across various regions recorded light to moderate showers, with additional rainfall expected in interior areas this week.
The northern parts of the country, in particular, recorded notable rainfall between Friday and Sunday. This includes Tsumeb and surrounding areas in the Oshikoto Region, as well as Oshakati, Ondangwa, and Tsintsabis, among others.

A few areas outside the northern regions also reported showers. These include places in the Otjozondjupa Region, such as Kombat and Klein Waterberg, which recorded between 18 mm and 25 mm of rain over the weekend. Windhoek in the Khomas Region experienced light showers as well, with prospects for further rainfall appearing promising.
According to the Namibia Meteorological Service, additional showers are expected throughout the day across various interior areas, excluding the western half and the Zambezi Region.
