The Ministry of Environment and Tourism, in partnership with Namdeb Diamond Corporation, inaugurated the newly constructed Wildlife Protection Services patrol camp at Hardap National Park on Friday.
The patrol camp aims to strengthen wildlife crime prevention, improve response to incidents, and enhance monitoring efforts within the park.
Hardap National Park is home to the country’s biggest dam, the Hardap Dam, and to a large number of antelopes.
