The Governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal State has suspended the Commissioner of Raja County, Adison Arkangelo Musa Albino, with immediate effect.
In a State Order issued on Monday, January 26, 2026, Governor Sherif Daniel Sherif directed the suspended commissioner to hand over all government property and responsibilities to the county’s Executive Director.
The order also instructs Albino to report to the state headquarters within 48 hours from the date of issuance.
In a separate State Order, the governor appointed the Raja County Executive Director, Adel-Rahman Gasim Jalab, as Acting Commissioner of Raja County until further notice.
Eye Radio contacted Commissioner Arkangelo, who confirmed his suspension but said he has not yet been informed of the reasons behind the decision.
