The Governor of Central Equatoria State has relieved and appointed several senior officials in the state government in a series of changes announced this morning.
Seven officials were relieved of their duties, while new appointments and reconstitutions signal a fresh direction for the state administration.
Those dismissed include Taban Clement Oliver, the Deputy Secretary General, and Michael Roberto Kenyi, Chairperson of the State Independent Commission Vision 2040.
Others affected are Ugo Aurelious Chichim, Technical Advisor at the State Ministry of Information and Communication, and Sebit Emmanuel Lujang, Executive Director of the State Revenue Authority.
Jacob Pitiya Emilian, Executive Director of the State Insurance Regulatory Authority; Albino Kulang Stephen, Member of the State Insurance Regulatory Authority; and Mawa Rufas Sosthenes, Acting Director of Revenue for Yei Zone in Yei River County were also relieved.
At the same time, the governor appointed three new officials to key positions.
Dada Issac Lemi is now Technical Advisor to the Juba City Council. Chandiga Michael Martin takes over as Director of Revenue for Yei Zone in Yei River County. James Bond Michael becomes Executive Director of the State Mining Authority.
Governor Adil also reconstituted the leadership of the State Independent Commissions.
The new Executive Directors include Christopher Lado Salvatore for the State Employee Justice Chamber, Lado Gubek Nyombe for the State HIV/AIDS Commission, and Mathew Abujin Enoka for the State Relief and Rehabilitation Commission.
Felix Amule Sosthene leads the State Human Rights Commission. Peter Wani Emmanuel heads the State Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation Commission. Rufus Juka Samuel is Executive Director of the State Anti-Corruption Commission.
Elly Bidali Alex Duku takes charge of the State Revenue Authority. Sebit Emmanuel Lujang now leads the State Investment Authority, while Albino Kulang Stephen returns to the State Insurance Regulatory Authority.
Gabriel Soroba has been appointed for the Juba Special Economic Zone. Mawa Peter Ezbon takes the State Commission Vision 2040, Alfred Lomoro Edward heads the State Land Commission, and Dwoki Moses Ismail leads the State Pension Fund Authority.
Governor Emmanuel Adil thanked the outgoing officials for their service. He wished the newly appointed leaders success as they take up their responsibilities, signaling a renewed focus on efficiency and accountability.
