Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a phone call on Tuesday evening from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during which they discussed the latest developments in Iran.
The Iranian President explained the current situation in Iran and the Iranian government’s efforts on the matter.
He also addressed the latest developments related to nuclear negotiations, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The Saudi Crown Prince affirmed his nation’s position of respecting the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stressing that his kingdom will not allow its airspace or territory to be used in any military actions against Iran or in any attacks from any party whatsoever, regardless of their origin.
He also affirmed Saudi Arabia’s support for all efforts that contribute to resolving disputes through dialogue, thereby enhancing security and stability in the region.
The Iranian President on his end expressed his gratitude towards Saudi Arabia for its steadfast position in respecting his nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He further praised the Crown Prince’s efforts towards reaching security and stability in the region.
