Margibi County—The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has, with immediate effect, disrobed Margibi County Commander, Special Agent Mentor A. Yormie, and turned him over to the Internal Board of Inquiry and Professional Standards for investigation following the escape of a female drug suspect from custody in the county.

According to an LDEA release, upon the conclusion of the investigation, the Board’s recommendations will be implemented in accordance with provisions of the LDEA Code of Conduct. The public, the release said, will be duly informed of the outcome.
It can be recalled, agents of the LDEA last week arrested suspect Massah Sheriff along with her husband, Jerry Sheriff and whisked away to Kakata at the agency’s county headquarters for preliminary investigation.
The couple was reportedly arrested in possession of 84 pieces of Kush and three wraps of cocaine.
Barely after three days in LDEA custody, suspect Massah Sheriff reportedly escaped, prompting the LDEA leadership to disrobe the Margibi County commander and subject him to investigation.
