CAIRO, Jan 17 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi Saturday spoke over the phone with Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, to inquire after his health following the surgery he underwent recently.
The President conveyed his sincere wishes for the Pope’s speedy recovery and continued good health, according to Presidential Spokesman Mohamed al-Shennawy.
Pope Tawadros II expressed his deep gratitude for the president’s kind gesture, which reflects the president’s profound sentiments and concern. (MENA)
