Slavia Prague defender Igoh Ogbu will likely replace suspended Calvin Bassey in Nigeria’s third-place encounter against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
Bassey picked his second booking in the knockout rounds of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations against Morocco on Wednesday.
Ogbu started Nigeria’s last group game against the Cranes of Uganda.
The 25-year-old was a late substitute in the Super Eagles quarter-final victory over Algeria.
Head coach Éric Chelle is also expected to ring several changes against the Egyptians.
Kick-off today at the Mohammed V Stadium, Casablanca is 5pm.
