THE Namibian Police at Okongo in the Ohangwena Region have arrested a 38-year-old suspect after seven head of cattle were reportedly stolen from grazing fields in Ondema village recently.
According to the police, the animals were stolen at an unknown time between 20 December 2025 and 11 January 2026.
The seven head of cattle, together valued at N$44,800, were eventually found in the suspect’s possession in Okashakati village, also in the Okongo policing area.
The animals have already been returned to their 71-year-old owner, and the suspect is expected to appear in court in due course.
