Human rights activist, Tony Dania has announced that he will represent Sam West, the brother of actress Regina Daniels, in an ongoing legal dispute involving Senator Ned Nwoko.
Dania revealed that he will offer his services pro bono, emphasizing the need for “fair play and justice” for all Nigerians, regardless of their public profile.
The controversy began in early November when videos surfaced showing Regina Daniels alleging that Nwoko had physically disciplined her, while her brother was reportedly arrested on the senator’s orders. Sam West has accused Nwoko of domestic violence and leveraging his influence to intimidate the family.
Senator Nwoko, however, has denied the allegations, calling the video a “pure Nollywood scenario” and attributing the controversy to Regina Daniels’ alleged drug use and a supposed “gang-up” of relatives and friends.
Dania’s involvement introduces a new dimension to the saga, sparking broader discussions about power dynamics, gender, and polygamy in Nigeria’s public life.
