DIPLOMACY STOPOVER: President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah made a technical stopover in Dakar, Senegal, while en route to Brazil, using the opportunity to pay a courtesy call on Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye. The two leaders held brief but constructive discussions on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation on regional and global issues of mutual concern. President Nandi-Ndaitwah was welcomed at Dakar by Namibia’s Ambassador to Senegal, Stanley Tsandib, Senegal’s Minister of Armed Forces Birame Diop, Namibian diplomatic staff, and members of the Namibian community residing in Senegal.
