Former Nigeria international Ahmed Garba is tipping the Super Eagles to beat DR Congo in the 2026 World Cup playoff final on Sunday.
The three-time African champions thrashed Gabon 4-1 in their semi-final clash, with talisman Victor Osimhen scoring twice in extra time to seal victory.
On the other hand, the Leopards needed a late goal to defeat Cameroon 1-0 in their semi-final game.
The two countries will now face each other in Rabat, Morocco, to determine who clinches the African ticket to the intercontinental playoffs.
“Our next game against DR Congo will be difficult as they were able to defeat Cameroon, who are a big team,” Garba told Footy Africa.
“It will be a physical game and the boys will have to be up for it.
“I like how the team is developing, and I think we will be able to beat them. The Super Eagles have got their confidence back, and I see them defeating DR Congo.”
