Abia Warriors will be without the services of captain, Augustine Njoku and midfielder, Ayodele Ezekiel for their matchday 16 clash against Rivers United, DAILY POST reports.
The duo have been ruled out of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) fixture due to injury.
Njoku and Ezekiel have struggled with fitness issues this season, limiting their contributions to the Umuahia-based side.
Last season, they played pivotal role in Abia Warriors’ impressive campaign.
The match against Rivers United is scheduled to take place at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.
Abia Warriors are currently in 6th place on the NPFL standings with 23 points from 15 matches.
Rivers United, on the other hand, are in third place with 26 points from 13 matches.
